I followed Director Fury quietly matching his steps. My green hood hung over my head and my mask on, making it were no one could see what I looked like. He had given me a file regarding something called the Tesseract, some other world object yet to be discovered what potential . I was assigned to help Agent Clint Barton keep an eye on it, and to occasionally do test on it for I was a scientist for the longest time until my accident. I enter the room with Director Fury and I went off to speak with Barton, leaving Fury to talk to Eric. Barton came down from his "nest" as we have been putting it. He walked over to me, with a grin on his face.
"Hey, whats up!"He said. I stood there, not saying a word. "Aw yeah, forgot. You don't speak when other people are around" He said chuckling. I opened my eyes for a split second only to be blinded by light. I cursed under my breath and closed them quickly. I took note quickly to how much pain I was currently in and pulled back my memories of what happen.
"Son of a bitch" i muttered. I shook my head and heard someone chuckle.
"Still not fond of light i see" the person said.
"Turn the fucking light off" I growled. I heard the audible click of the light switch and slowly opened my eyes once again.
"You took a good amount of injures from jumping out of a car." the voice reply.
"I jumped out of it TWICE! That shit hurts. So the loony birds name is Loki correct?" I asked.
"Yup" the voice said, closer than before. I glanced over at my old friend Bruce Banner, we had worked together for a while. Then Fury gave me a job that I couldn't refuse, Bruce understood knowing how badly I would want to uncover the secrets behind it.
